How cool to start a New Year.
It is like a new beginning; all the old stuff is so last year. So we start over; the old is gone, finished, just new stuff for the future. How Cool!
Maybe you have thought about attending church, but have continued to put it off. Well, here is your invitation for the New Year. Come on!!
At Christ UMC you come as friend. Jesus said,” we are no longer servants, but friends”. When you come and visit us and you are instantly friends. Come and see, come and visit, come and be a part of something new. We are building Disciples for 2012. Won’t you join us?
The definition of a disciple is, simply put, a follower. Come and join us in our journey and learn to be a follower of Jesus Christ . Come and visit as friend, but leave as our family as we, together, see what God has to offer you for 2012. Come!

An evening of Gospel Music!

5:00 p.m. Potluck; 6:00 concert
The musical group, Hyssongs, will be bringing their unique blend of gospel, jazz and family stories to our church and share a power message of the saving power of Jesus Christ. Pot luck dinner begins at 5:00 followed by the concert in teh Sanctuary at 6:00.

For those who need to start with the basics
Disciple - Monday evenings at 6:30 -p.m.
Intermediate level study - "Invitation to the New Testament" an 8-week course
Dateable - for middle and high school youth
a 10-week study based on Justin Lookado's book and lead by Youth Director Amber Senna
Musically gifted? Passion for sharing the good Word through music?
Our Choir Director, Kent Staples, is looking for musicians of all types to start a new band for the church. We are also looking for choir members to make Joyful Noise each Sunday. Interested or know friends or neighbors who might be? Join us Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm to raise your voice and share your talents. For more information, contact the Church Office.
