Welcome to Christ United Methodist Church Neptune Beach!

Greetings in the Name of Jesus Christ!
This month, Christians celebrate the holiest day of the Christian year, Easter. The resurrection of our Lord and Savior is one of the primary focuses of our beliefs, one that is at the core of our faith. In the resurrection, we can begin to understand the redeeming power of God's grace through the sacrificial love of Christ Jesus. The question for us, today, is how do we live this resurrection in our daily lives.
It is easy to believe that the resurrection is a past event, one that has already occurred. That would be a mistake. Don't get me wrong, the resurrection is an important part of our lives, but it is not only constrained to the past.  The resurrection is also present and future. The resurrection is present as we see the transforming of our souls in accepting the grace of God for our lives; our lives are resurrected from one of a life of Godless living to one of a Christ centered living. We also look forward to the resurrection of the world, that time in the future where Christ will return and God's kingdom here on earth will be complete. We shouldn't be constrained in thinking of the resurrection of the past without thinking of the present and the future.
As Christians, our lives should be lived as proclaiming the resurrection. People should see the love of Christ in our lives as we witness to the grace of God found in Christ Jesus. We should also be working toward the future resurrection through Salty Service as we proclaim "thy Kingdom come on Earth as it is in Heaven." My hope is that, as we celebrate Easter, we will live our lives so that the world will see us proclaim the resurrection of Christ in our lives, not just on this one day, but the whole year long.
In Christ,
Pastor Chris
Celebrate Jesus missions are about people coming together in fellowship to share the good news of Jesus Christ! We want to help you find Jesus and the loving fellowship of a local church, whether it is ours or another. Christ United Methodist Church will be hosting a week-long series of events to share Jesus' love with every person we meet and to share God's love through the hope that we have in Jesus.
In the 14 weeks leading up to our Celebrate Jesus mission week, we will be posting prayer devotions to help us pray for help, understanding, faith and the hope that our outreach, our mission to help our community see Jesus Christ through our programs and outreach is a success. We all will come together mission week to CELEBRATE JESUS.  CLICK HERE to see this week's devotion.
We need your help to make this event a success. We are now accepting donations of food, products, time and money that are needed to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ. For details about needed items or for more information about our Celebrate Jesus event, CLICK HERE!
