New Worship Experience Coming to CUMC!

Beginning January 8, CUMC will begin offering a Contemporary Worship Service in Wilson Hall at 5:00 p.m. each Sunday. Our focus with this service is to connect people to God and God to people. Join us and Catch the Wave of God's spirit through this contemporary worship experience.

New Study Groups Coming to CUMC!

In keeping with the theme of Discipleship for 2012, CUMC plans to offer three levels of Bible Study for adults as well a develop appropriate discipleship classes in the youth and childrens programs. Several new study groups will be offered starting in January 2012 at CUMC.

1. Bible 101 - Sunday evenings at 6:30 p.m. beginning January 8

This study is for those who need to start with the basics. It is a place where all questions can be asked without embarrassments; a place where the bits and pieces begin to come together; a place of fellowship and growth.

2. Disciple - an "Invitation to the New Testament" - 8 week course on Monday evenings at 6:30 beginning January 9

Love the Bible all over again! Same great quality, totally new format; shorter courses, shorter classes, less homework.

This class is an intermediate level study

3. Dateable - Are you? Are they?

A 10-week study for middle school and high school youth based on Justin Lookado's book "Dateable". This study will be lead by our Youth Director, Amber Senna.

Musically gifted? Passion for sharing the good Word through music?

Our Choir Director, Kent Staples, is looking for musicians of all types to start a new band for the church. We are also looking for choir members to make Joyful Noise each Sunday. Interested or know friends or neighbors who might be? Join us Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm to raise your voice and share your talents. For more information, contact the Church Office.
